Spike Out Sepsis 2016 - June 25 at Woodlands Backyard.
Spike Out Sepsis is a unique 6-on-6 sand volleyball tournament designed to raise awareness and funds for Sepsis Alliance. Sometimes called blood poisoning, sepsis is the body's often deadly response to infection or injury. Sepsis Alliance aims to raise awareness in both patients and healthcare providers.
Last year's Spike Out Sepsis was a smashing success. This year we will again be taking over The Woodlands Backyard in Columbus, OH for the 2016 Spike Out Sepsis Championship.
Team Registration: The Team Captain will need to "Create a Team" and pay the $250 registration fee to fully reserve their team's spot. Registration includes 7 t-shirts for team members. Once the team fundraising page is created, individuals can then "Join a Team." The Team Captain will receive all email communications and will be responsible for passing on the information to team members, and gathering t-shirt sizes.
Register by April 25 to recieve a $50 bonus to spend on lifelines!

- On the other hand, you’re really bad at volleyball – Opponent must serve with opposite hand for one serve.
- Are you just going to sit there and take that? – Receiving team has to start in sitting position and can’t get up until the ball is served
- Just take your ball and go home – Purchaser can choose one player on opposing team to sit out one point
- Let’s try that again – Last point does not count and is replayed
Unique rules to maximize fun and hide lack of athletic skills – Check out the SOS2016 rules. Even if you don’t play, there will be a 50/50 raffle, silent auction, and lots of fun.
